3 things I will do if I win:

1. I vow to reduce child poverty - to help families meet their basic needs. The toxic stress of poverty interferes with the vital early relational health that is the foundation of helping children reach their full potential.  We must do all we can to make sure our young families have access to safe housing

2. We must fully fund education (preK through associate's degree) for all Oregon children and young adults. This includes access to pre Kindergarten and community college, as well as apprenticeships and trades work. This is how we help people find meaningful, family wage work.

3. We must reduce gun violence by fully implementing Measure 114 (permit to purchase + a limit on magazine sizes), raising the age of firearm purchase to 21, banning assault rifles and bumpstocks, allowing local jurisdictions to prohibit guns in their buildings and surroundings
