Skills: I taught elementary education in local schools for 25 years. Now I work at Pacific University in the College of Education helping people to become a teacher.
3 things I will do if I win:
1. I will work to increase school funding for greater student success. I will help to increase access to an affordable college education. I will work to make sure all schools have quality services, such as mental health resources.
2. I will work to build an economy that helps all people be successful financially. I will help to grow the number of rental units and home ownership options people can afford. I will work to find solutions to both prevent and solve homelessness.
3. I will work to increase different types of safe & affordable transportation. I will help prepare our communities for wildfire and winter storm emergencies, including quicker recovery. I will work to create more clean energy jobs for a climate friendly future.
