3 things I will do if I win:
1. I worked with Republicans and Democrats to pass historic housing reforms to boost supply, bring down costs, and increase shelter beds to help move homeless Oregonians into permanent housing. The work is not done yet. I will work on building on those successes to make housing affordable for working
2. Public safety has always been a top priority for me. Homelessness, out of control drug use, and outdated stalking laws have made our communities less safe. I am proud to have passed legislation to expand the Family Abuse Protection Act, protect students from sexual predators, and re-criminalize h
3. Cost of living: I have fought to make our communities more affordable by sponsoring legislation to give middle class families tax relief, opposing Salem’s $500 payroll tax, and opposing any effort to raise property taxes. I will continue to fight against new taxes and fees.
