Skills: Janeen Sollman is your State Senator for SD15 and a Recycling Specialist at Vernier Science Education. Janeen attended Forest Grove High School and PCC. Before becoming a Senator, Janeen was a State Representative and a Hillsboro School Board Member.
3 things I will do if I win:
1. Janeen has held over 95 community conversations on issues including our homeless crisis, affordable housing, and the rising cost of living. She will advocate for policies that help our community, including seniors and those on fixed incomes.
2. Janeen supports our schools and Career & Technical Education. She helped pass landmark legislation to fully fund our schools. She served on the Hillsboro School Board for eight years and now volunteers with the Hillsboro Schools Foundation.
3. Janeen is a champion for protecting reproductive rights, including supporting the Reproductive Health Equity Act – which made Oregon a leader in the United States for protecting reproductive rights.
