Skills: Before I was a member of Congress, I served as Director of Oregon Legal Services for the Elderly. I co-founded the Oregon chapter of the Gray Panthers after getting my law degree from the University of Oregon Law School.

3 things I will do if I win:

1. I passed a new law cutting drug prices for seniors and will keep working to ensure that Americans don’t get mugged at the pharmacy counter by drug manufacturers.

2. I’m fighting to increase housing supply to help first-time homebuyers get a down payment on the American dream and to stop hedge fund investors from pricing out Oregonians.

3. I wrote the laws cracking down on corporate tax dodgers with a 15% minimum corporate tax rate and providing incentives to major corporations to invest more in their workers. And with Big Oil profits skyrocketing, I’m working to end these profiteers’ special tax breaks, on top of writing the law that
