3 things I will do if I win:
1. Homelessness – We must act with compassion but expect personal accountability. Our streets cannot be the waiting room for mental health services or long-term housing. We need to end street camping. We need a governor who will stop talking about this like an emergency and act like it is a crisis.
2. Public safety – The streets belong to everyone, and we should all be able to use them safely. I will not defund or demonize our police. I will repeal the failed experiment to legalize hard drugs. I will stop releasing convicted felons. I will do more to keep guns away from criminals, the crazed and kids.
3. Affordability – We have a housing affordability crisis because we have a supply crisis. I will stop new taxes and fees that drive up the cost of housing and everything else – energy, gas and health insurance. Quality of life depends on affordability.
