3 things I will do if I win:

The Secretary of State’s Audits Division should focus on exposing and reporting wasted money and abuses of power. We’ll accomplish this by performing financial and performance audits of state agencies, such as the Department of Human Services.

As Secretary of State, we’ll audit poor-performing public schools to make sure every child has a fair shot at a quality education. This includes ensuring parents and teachers have access to important public records like lead and radon test results.

Create the Oregon Youth Vote, a program to allow high school students to complete special ballots in every election, to teach young people the process and importance of voting. These ballots won’t count towards the official results.
