City where I live: Portland
Skills: I have lived in Oregon for 62 years. Cleveland High School graduate. Portland State University 1980 & 2014. Self employed since 1990, retired. Now a writer of science, economics & morality.

3 things I will do if I win:
Icon: A picture of the state of Oregon with a health cross in the middle 1. As Governor of Oregon I will make health and medical needs Free for every citizen of Oregon plus all extra care needed for the disabled. New care facilities and hospitals will be built for children and adults.
Icon: A diploma, a graduation cap and a book, with the label "College." 2. As Governor of Oregon I will make college Free for every citizen of Oregon so the disabled and the young can follow their dreams and flourish. We will build more new colleges for all who want to learn.

As Governor of Oregon I will make for every citizen of Oregon an extra Free income of $1000 every month plus a $27 dollar minimum wage for everyone 18 and older. David W Stauffer – Republican

Skills: I earned a B.A. degree from the University of Chicago, an M.B.A. (with a major in accounting) from the University of Portland, and a Juris Doctorate degree from Northwestern School of Law at Lewis & Clark College. I practiced law for 15 years.

3 things I will do if I win:
Icon: A bridge, a utility pole, a water spigot with a drop coming out of it, and a road. 1. I will get water to solve droughts and fight wildfires. I will ease rush-hour traffic congestion. I will cut the cost of hot water heating, heating houses, and cooling houses.

I will lower the level of the oceans by sending some of the water in big rivers–like the Columbia River– to inland area–like eastern Oregon and eastern Washington–that need water.

I will provide fresh water for drinking, irrigation, and fire suppression, to sagebrush areas in eastern Oregon and eastern Washington. I will provide abundant non-polluting hydroelectric power from thousands of in-pipe electricity generators.

Brett Hyland – Republican

Skills: Brett has led important jobs of responsibility for financial companies and for The Library Foundation, Inc. He has raised money for the Children’s summer reading program and helped a small company start in Portland where over 100 people now work.

3 things I will do if I win:

Candace Neville – Democrat

3 things I will do if I win:
Icon: The sun, a lightning bolt, and a wind turbine in a grassy field 1. Healthy environment + clean energy jobs and businesses = prosperity. Keep out fading last century’s energy investments such as LNG pipeline that compete with our 21st century opportunities. Promote Oregon products nationally and globally.

Plan and work towards single payer health care for all Oregonians. Establish non-profits in charge of healthcare.
