City where I live: Washington County
Skills: I worked my way through community college, college, and law school, and served consumers and small businesses as an attorney and state legislator. I am a proven leader, fighting for economic stability and opportunities for all Oregonians.
3 things I will do if I win:
1. All students deserve an excellent public education. I will continue to work on expanding access to early childhood education, funding IDEA, supporting well-rounded education, reducing high-stakes testing, and making college more affordable.
2. To grow the economy and create jobs, I support workforce training, apprenticeships, and robust infrastructure investments. Too many families still struggle, so I am also fighting for affordable childcare, retirement security, and paid family leave.
3. We must protect our planet for future generations. On the Science Committee, I support protecting clean air and water, reducing carbon emissions, investing in renewable energy technologies, and protecting our oceans.
