City where I live: Beaverton
Skills: For the past ten years, I’ve been a State Representative. I have a degree in Politics and Economics from Willamette and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Washington. I worked at Nike and for the US Treasury Secretary.
3 things I will do if I win:
1. As State Treasurer, I will protect Oregon’s future in the long term. I will use my experience to make sure that Oregon has financial policies that help everyone.
2. The Oregon College Savings Plan is a great tool for helping families save for college. I will make sure this program is protected so that more people can afford to attend college.
3.Last year I worked to pass a law that gives all Oregonians a chance to save for retirement through their work. As State Treasurer, I’m looking forward to making sure this exciting new plan is successful.
