City where I live: Unincorporated Washington County
Skills: I worked at Legal Aid during community college, college, and law school, and served consumers and small businesses as an attorney and state legislator. I am a proven leader, fighting for economic stability and opportunities for all Oregonians.
3 things I will do if I win:
1. All children deserve an excellent public education. I will continue to reduce high-stakes testing and support well-rounded education; work to make college more affordable; and expand access to early childhood education.
2. Small businesses are critical to our economy. I will continue to advocate for access to capital; support rebuilding our infrastructure; and fight for policies that sustain and create jobs that support Oregon families.
3. We must protect our planet for future generations. On the Science Committee, I will support policies that reduce carbon emissions; invest in renewable energy technology; and develop a national energy policy that shifts us away from fossil fuels.
